THE DEMIX ~ ACTION BUILDING SYSTEM is a mini album mixtape concept album built through a hybrid process of live playing, programming, sampling, editing, remixing and other audio manipulations. The work pulls from multiple periods and states of attention assembled into a single moment of action.
This project exists because not everything resolves cleanly. It’s about acting inside unstable systems where intelligence, belief, technology, and control overlap. ABS is committing to motion without waiting for certainty.
ABS isn’t asking “Is this real?”
It’s asking “What do you do now?”
Sonically, ACTION BUILDING SYSTEM is comfortable with distortion and friction. The music unfolds in environments that feel unstable, urgent, and alive, resisting passive listening and pulling attention toward what’s forming, breaking, and pushing up beneath the surface. Musical phrases fight their way through pressure and grit, melody and feeling intact but stressed, bent, and reworked — resulting in four distinct songs and one piece that abandons song form almost entirely.
